This is really good. Lovely sense of dynamic movement, and great anatomical accuracy without stagnating the image. But what I really love is the sketchy dood on the left who looks like he just took a haymaker in the breadbasket, lovely momentum! Some great stuff man, ya gotta keep this going at our next workshop!
Hey Steven, really glad you like the pic. I'm having a lot of fun with it. Building the confidance back. I was thinking it'd be fun to do a Flash sample. So taking Dec's advice to get nice and comfortable with the character first. We gotta have that workshop soon :)
Hey Paddy! Well I've been thinkin it'd be nice to give it a shot at getting some professional work in comics. Its a long road though. I'd say at least a year of constant drawing before any editors looked twice at my work. Glad you like the pic man! I wanna head along to the thursday night comic in. Hopefully I'll get to go soon. By the by we should meet for some form of beverage soon.
That's probably the best comic book drawing I've seen you do. Looks like all those years of animation have influenced your stuff in a really good way. Dynamic with a capitol d. It'd be really cool to see some new pages from you.
